I'm Not Alone / 2023 - 2024

This project represents a research and creative journey as a testimony of recognition toward those individuals who, throughout my life and amidst my mental health challenges, have been a constant support, showing up in various ways. I acknowledge that, in many moments, I did not fully grasp the extent of their generosity.

For this reason, I chose to explore the concept of gratitude, understood as a profound appreciation for the acts of kindness and support received, which becomes an essential pillar in everyone’s life. Gratitude not only involves valuing others’ actions but also deeply understanding these gestures and the positive impact they generate on both personal and collective lives. It is a feeling that transcends words, manifesting through concrete actions and an attitude of love and reciprocity.

Thus, this series not only seeks to express my feelings toward those who have contributed to my personal and professional growth but also aims to underscore the importance of gratitude in daily life. Each piece displayed is a symbol of my deep appreciation for my surroundings, my family, friends, colleagues, and those who follow my work. In this context, painting becomes a means to express and channel these sentiments in a tangible and lasting way.
